At Russ and Company, we create and develop unique properties with character. Founded in 2016, our company name honors our inspiration and mentors from previous generations of our family, Alexander McClure Russ, Sr. and
Alexander McClure "Mac" Russ, Jr.
Our intention is to give every project our personal touch, with features that give each
resident or guest a feeling of home. Our company has four areas of focus-
Russ and Company Properties, Russ and Company Vacation Rentals,
Whispering Trees Farm, and Russ Ranch.
Russ and Company Properties is where our company began, with residential and commercial rental properties. Most of our rental properties are located in EaDo, East Downtown Houston. This historical area is designated as a cultural district by the State of Texas and is a diverse area of immense growth. We are proud of our East End beginnings, and the exciting future plans for the area including the East River Project and the Buffalo Bayou Partnership.
Russ and Company Vacation Rentals offers short term rentals in Galveston, Texas through Airbnb. Each listing is rated by our guests to have the highest levels of cleanliness and amenities, and we are continually updating and improving each property. With over 450 five-star guest reviews, we are
consistently recognized by Airbnb as a Superhost for each of our properties, with many of our guests returning to stay at our properties again. Giving families a
place to create vacation memories is one of the most rewarding parts of our work.

Whispering Trees Farm is a 70-acre retreat, just one hour west of Houston. With a projected opening date of Fall 2024, the farm will host small group gatherings, either for families or small businesses. The grounds include a meeting space, commercial kitchen, competition length swimming pool, as well as unlimited outdoor activities. Located one hour south of San Antonio, the 500-acre Russ Ranch is a natural habitat for native animals and birds. The South Texas terrain is covered with cactus plants and mesquite trees, with sunrises and sunsets that cannot be missed.
Russ Ranch is a working cattle ranch with seasonal hunting opportunities.
